Thanks to all that participated in Speak Up 2008!  I have listed links below to our survey results for the district.  The federal government is working on $1 billion funding package for educational technology.  Speak Up suggests that we look at our results as we plan how we might use these funds.

• Students were asked to design their ultimate school by identifying the tools that would have the greatest positive impact on their learning (question 27 on grades 6-12, question 24 on grades 3-5, question 14 on grades K-2). 
• Teachers were asked to identify the technology tools and strategies that hold the greatest potential for increasing student achievement and success (Q32), as well as the obstacles to using more technology in their school (Q7).  
• Parents were asked how satisfied they were with the use of technology at their child’s school (Q7) and which technology tools they would recommend as a good investment to enhance student achievement (Q10).
